Commercial Finance Analyst

Are you a seasoned Audit professional with strong Big 4 experience?

Location: London/Hybrid

Salary: £62,000 + Bonus (Competitve pension and private healthcare/insurance)

I am currently working with a really exciting Real Estate Business in their search for a Commerical Finance Analyst. They are a FTSE listed company with an enormous portfolio, who have extremely ambitious plans to double their numbers ovr the next few years. Their aim is to change the UK!

Responsibilities:

• Support the appraisal of new investment opportunities, working with the acquisitions and development teams on underwriting assumptions and business plan.
• The monitoring and control of expenditure on secured development projects and joint venture project board reporting.
• Continuous improvement of the design and implementation of processes to further improve the financial control of secured projects under development and on-boarding.
• Support the preparation and submission of fifinancial information for investment projects including annual budgets, monthly reporting of actual and forecast variances to budget.
• Challenge and stress test assumptions, interrogate reported numbers and understand key drivers to improve performance and assess scenarios and risks.

Requiremnts:

• Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with strong academics.
• Straight from Audit or SOME PQE
• Typical experience level - 0-2 years post qualification
• Strong analytical skills and mind-set.
• Excellent communicator, oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Evidence of people management experience.
• Confident
• Some financial modelling experience, ideally in the real estate sector.
• Some knowledge of development cycles.
• Some knowledge of real estate assets and key performance drivers (income and capital).
