Commercial Finance Accountant

Quest Search & Selection are working for a retailer who is looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to support within this multi-faceted brand and business.

In this Commercial Finance Accountant role, you will need to provide business partnering support, including provision of management accounts information and financial planning and analysis. This role is initially for 9 months for the potential for going permanent.

Your responsibilities as aCommercial Finance Accountantrole -

• Ownership of the assigned Business Unit or Group level on daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Providing variance analysis as required
  • Period end close and review of all areas from Sales to EBITDA
  • Input to Budgets and Forecasts
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations for specific BU accounts
  • Input to weekly, period and quarterly management accounts information
  • Forecast model and actualisation
  • Payroll/wage Analysis & reporting when required

To be successful in this Commercial Finance Accountant roleyou will need -

• Someone who is available immediately or within 2 months (this is a 9month contract initially)
• Qualified/Part ACCA, ACA, CIMA or qualified via experience
• You must have 3 years experience + of a management/financial/commercial accountant level at an analyst, manager or business partner level.
• Strong excel and finance systems knowledge / experience
• Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to investigate, and resolve issues
• Great communication/interpersonal skills
