We are currently recruiting for an expereinced commercial/industrial electrician on behalf of a leading electrical installation company in the Electric Vehicle Charging Sector.

We ar looking for an enthusiastic, qualified electrician to become apart of their team, responsible for installing and maintaining their clients network of charge points. Role Responsibilities:

  • Working areas: London, Essex, Kent, Surrey
  • Follow work instructions, electrical designs, cable calculations and installation guides to carry out the proper installation of EV chargers from various charger manufacturers .
  • To liaise with our Qualified Supervisor and provide updates relevant to the EV charge point installations for their projects.
  • Adhere to site specific RAMS.
  • Work to site specific Programmes of Work.
  • Complete NICEIC Electrical Installation Certificates using the NICEIC online portal on a tablet device.
  • Handle all necessary hand over documentation for each project, ensuring it is fed back into the QS/PM.
  • Any other reasonable request in line with this role given by the Qualified Supervisor.

Essential Training or Qualifications:

  • A recognised electrical apprenticeship with a minimum 2 years experience or;
  • C&G L3 Electrotechnical Qualification
  • C&G 2382 BS7671: 2018 amended 2022 (18th Edition)
  • C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection and Testing
  • C&G 2919 EV Charging Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Full Clean Driving Licenc
  • JIB registered is a must (Gold Card)
  • Experience with DC chargers ranging from 50kW upwards of 400kW DC
