A leading firm ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers UK are seeking an ambitious Commercial Disputes Resolution lawyer to join their dynamic and forward-thinking office in Horsham.

The firm have a strong reputation for providing exceptional legal services to their clients. They work with a diverse range of clients, including businesses of all sizes, individuals, and organisations, and pride themselves on delivering tailored legal solutions and expert advice. Their Commercial Dispute Resolution team is at the forefront of resolving complex legal disputes, and they are now seeking a talented lawyer to join their highly respected team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will have exposure to high-level and complex work and will gain excellent experience. You will be handing a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes and advise on:

  • Contract disputes
  • Professional negligence disputes
  • Intellectual property disputes
  • Insurance disputes
  • Shareholder disputes
  • Partnership disputes
  • Disputes arising from breaches of directors duties
  • Antecedent transactions and all contentious insolvency claims and disputes
  • Guarantor liabilities
  • Landlord and tenant disputes
  • Real estate disputes
  • Agency and franchising disputes
  • Banking and financial services disputes
  • Consumer credit and mediation, and other methods of ADR
  • Aviation Industry disputes

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive and experience in Commercial Dispute Resolution.
  • Have sound knowledge of the litigation processes.
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Be commercially aware and have an understanding of the regional market, its challenges and opportunities.
