Commercial Dispute Resolution Associate

Here at Interlink, we are working with a leading law firm who work with Lawyers globally and are seeking to add an additional to their commercial dispute resolution team based in London.

This position will involve working in the restructuring & insolvency team, which forms part of the wider commercial dispute resolution team.

Responsibilities

• This role will be a mix of contentious and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency work and the team have a varied and wide ranging practice in relation to both corporate entities and individuals.

Some knowledge and experience of:

• Administrations (appointment/trading issues/pre-packs etc) and floating charge issues;
• Receiverships (appointment and management all the way to sale);
• Members voluntary liquidations (advising all parties, representing IPs, strategic advice, the procedure itself and associated indemnity and early distribution issues)
• CVLs - procedure and advice to the company on strategy prior, creditor related issues, SIP2 investigations and conversion from MVL
• CVAs, Schemes of Arrangement and Part 26A restructuring plans - both acting for the company/IP and challenges by creditors
• All usual antecedent and directors duties/misfeasance actions (contentious and preventative)
• Disclaimer in liquidation
• Knowledge of bankruptcy, and the post-bankruptcy issues that would be relevant to a trustee would be beneficial
