Are you a Claims Handler with commercial insurance experience, seeking a new opportunity?

If so, one of our clients a friendly, local insurance brokerage in the Burnley area is seeking a Commercial Claims Handler to work as part of their team.

As Commercial Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling Property, Motor and Casualty claims on behalf of clients, providing a high quality service at all times and ensuring the best possible outcome on their claim.

Experience of dealing with commercial claims is essential, either coming from a broker or insurer background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with claims on behalf of clients, ensuring everything is dealt with promptly and to the best possible conclusion.
  • Liaising closely with insurers, loss adjusters, directors, brokers and account executives on behalf of clients.
  • Attending meetings with clients to discuss claims.
  • Logging new claims on the system and keeping clients updated at all times.
  • Providing an outstanding, tailored service to all clients.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of handling commercial claims, ideally with knowledge across Property, Casualty and Motor.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Cert CII would be great or be working towards this.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage time effectively.
