Commercial Accounts Manager

£30k rising to £32k

This esteemed organisation is seeking a Commercial Accounts Manager to play a crucial part in steering the company through its next phase of growth.

The appointed Commercial Manager will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary of £30,000 per annum, with a promising increase to £32,000 post a successful 6-month probationary period.

Key Responsibilities:

Dealing with the overall running of the office you will specifically oversee.....

- Taking orders and issuing delivery notes
- Take charge of Credit Control Management
- Forge and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and managing contracts.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SAGE for posting transactions, managing accounts, and generating accurate, timely reports.
- Oversee all banking and invoicing activities, maintaining meticulous financial records.
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly reports to Directors, offering insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Coordinate and administer job costing analysis within the manufacturing division, working closely with the Production/Quality Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- A proven track record in office management, particularly within a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in credit control, cash flow analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in SAGE accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and pursue new business avenues.
