An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Account Handler to join a leading independent insurance broker.

This client is a well-established North West broking brand with a fantastic reputation earned over many years of offering outstanding service to their clients. Due to the continued growth of the business, they are now seeking an experienced handler to join their team. Working with a varied, interesting client base, consisting of mid-corporate cases (a number of clients are paying £200K+) you will be responsible for providing support to the incumbent AEs by processing some new business enquiries, assisting with policy amendments, helping clients with general technical insurance enquires regarding their policy cover, and generating renewals - including undertaking re-broking exercises where required.

You will be joining a business that prides itself on really believing in, and holding on to, an independent ethos of placing service at the heart of what they do, rather than concentrating on growth at all costs. As such this role would really suit someone who feels they have maybe moved away from the core values of broking in their current role, and would like to join a business were they will be truly valued and rewarded for their individual efforts.

Required experience:

  • Previous commercial insurance experience gained in a broking environment.
  • Possess a broad technical broking knowledge.
  • Holding Cert CII status or above would be advantageous but isn't essential
  • Experience of using Acturis.
