Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building strong working relationships? Our client, a prominent player in the insurance industry, is seeking a results-driven Commercial Account Handler to contribute to the success of their department and achieve financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and enhance existing and new client relationships to ensure premium income contributes to financial targets.

Utilise excellent interpersonal and telephone skills for client and insurer visits, ensuring clear and precise communication.

Maintain in-house diary systems and stay current on industry news and developments.

Process mid-term adjustments, conduct pre-renewal visits, and secure the best terms available.

Provide quotations, secure new business, and cross-sell other group insurance products.

Actively contact prospective clients for Professional Indemnity insurance and additional policy extensions.

Develop cross-selling opportunities within various Hamilton Fraser departments.

Ensure all actions and documentation adhere to service standards and FCA regulations.

Assist in preparing and attending external events and exhibitions.

Experience in a Commercial Insurance environment, with knowledge of Professional Indemnity Insurance being advantageous. General SME experience will also be considered.

Proven sales-focused approach to client relationships while maintaining excellent customer service.

Cert CII or significant progress towards the qualification is advantageous.

Good written and spoken English, along with excellent numerical skills.

Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.

Sound IT skills, particularly in MS Office products, with a willingness to learn new systems.

Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage workload.
