Day Webster Recruitment Agency is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Colorectal Registrar to join our esteemed medical team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to further their career in colorectal surgery and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized colorectal care to patients with various colorectal conditions, including cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and benign anorectal disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, investigations, and diagnostic procedures to formulate accurate treatment plans.
  • Participate actively in the management of colorectal patients, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative assistance, and post-operative care.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of colorectal surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and open surgeries.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with advances in colorectal surgery and management.

Requirements:
  • Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Completion of core surgical training and entry onto the GMC Specialist Register (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in colorectal surgery and management in a hospital setting.
  • Competence in performing endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
