COLLECTIONS TEAM LEADER - CHESTER

This role focuses on driving productivity within the collections team, monitoring performance and ensuring the values of the business are embedded within the team.

WHAT YOU WILL WANT TO KNOW:

  • Salary is competitive - up to £37,000 depending on your experience.
  • Working hours of Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 7pm (various shifts available) On site.
  • 37.5 hour working week plus 2 Saturdays (8am-12 worked from home) and paid in lieu

A SNAPSHOT OF THE COLLECTION TEAM LEADER'S DAY:

  • Communicate with the team on a daily basis
  • Monitor performance within the team, ensure targets and KPIs are understood and met
  • Lead by example and ensure the values of the business are embedded in the team
  • Encourage the team to develop and foster an environment of continual learning and development
  • Provide training and support for the Collections Executives to ensure they are maximising their performance
  • Call monitoring and quality monitoring
  • Ensure company guidelines and codes of practice are adhered to
  • Understand company policies, procedures and strategies.
  • Monthly and annual performance reviews
  • Ensure that the principles of treating customers fairly are adhered to
  • Support management to ensure the department performs beyond business expectations

Please read on for the essential skills our client is hoping you will be able to showcase:

  • Good working knowledge of motor finance
  • Minimum of 3 years call centre experience
  • Working knowledge of all regulations relating to collections activity
  • Team player with excellent leadership qualities
  • Understanding of MI
  • Experience of leading and performance managing a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and flexible approach
  • Reliability and honesty are essential.
  • Knowledge of regulatory processes within financial services.

You will be able to showcase that you have solid experience and a proven track record in a similar environment. Our client requires the experience detailed above.
