Our client, with offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, is looking to expand their finance team with a experienced Collections Manager. This role is integral to maintaining the firm's financial health and offers significant insight into the organisation and its clients.

The Role:

We are seeking a Collections Manager to join our client's busy finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role within the firm, engaging with colleagues across all levels and contributing to the firm's financial operations. This position is based in either the Edinburgh or Glasgow office and offers an excellent opportunity to influence the firm's credit control processes directly.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct line management of the credit control team, ensuring efficient and effective collection of invoices.
  • Develop and implement robust collection strategies that align with the firm's high standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to facilitate timely collections.
  • Work collaboratively across departments, enhancing financial strategies and understanding firm-wide impacts.
  • Ensure the professional development and performance management of the credit control team.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior experience in credit control or collections environment within a professional services environment or similar.
  • Proven people management skills with a track record of successful team leadership.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial management tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a multifaceted role and adapt to a continuously evolving environment.
