This is a 4-6 month contract role where you will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, working shifts across Monday-Friday, between the hours of 08:00-18:00. You will be working from the client’s office in Reading 3 days a week and 2 days from home after training.
The role is a collections role, and you will have realistic key performance indicators to meet on your work.
What you’ll be doing as a Collections Agent:
- Taking responsibility for outbound and inbound calls
- Negotiating payments and arrangements on inbound and outbound telephone contacts by using the Collections system
- Providing a high level of customer service, offering them all relevant information to allow them to understand any options available to them
- Undertake all credit control activities in accordance with the required regulations; ensure Consumer Duty, Companies Policies and Guidelines laid down by FCA
- Reviewing SLA adherence and performance reports (in conjunction with the Manager)
- Adhering to regulatory processes, policies and procedures
- Treating customers with respect adhering to principles of Consumer Duty ensuring a fair outcome is achieved in every instance
- Supporting in other areas where required
What we’re looking for in a Collections Agent:
- Previous collections, credit control, debt recovery experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation and listening skills
- Confident processing information with accuracy
- Proactive and motivated to take ownership of individual arrears cases to completion
- Confidence working in a target driven environment
In return, you will receive £140 per day via umbrella.
