Collections Advisor
I am working with reputable finance company located in Chester, seeking a dedicated and empathetic Collection Agent/Customer Financial Support specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for working with customers who are in arrears, assisting them in setting up payment plans, and providing compassionate support to help them achieve financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers who are in arrears to understand their financial situation and develop suitable repayment solutions.
- Negotiate payment plans and agreements tailored to each customer's needs, while adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Utilise company systems and tools to accurately document customer interactions and maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and inquiries.
- Adhere to compliance guidelines and regulations related to debt collection and customer financial support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in debt collection, financial support, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications.
- Empathy and compassion towards customers facing financial difficulties.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (flexible options available)
- Two Saturdays per month: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (work from home, with time in lieu)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (on-site)
