Our client, a leading business in the Financial Services industry is seeking a Collections Account Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to growth our client is looking to add a Collections Account Manager to their team, working closely with an experienced team of Account Managers where you will be required to liaise and work with customers who have outstanding balances on their accounts, working with them to take the steps required to amend any missed or outstanding payments, ensuring a high level of account management and customer service is maintained at all times.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in either customer service or collections / debt recovery, and will be required to have access to their own vehicle due to the location of the office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deal with telephone and email queries and enquiries from customers who are experiencing financial difficulty

- Setup payment plans for customers experiencing financial difficulty

- Display compassion to vulnerable customers, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained at all times

- Accurately complete all administrative tasks

- Liaise with a range of clients, colleagues and third parties, maintaining professionalism at all times

Key Experience:

- Previous experience in Collections / Debt recovery would be highly-advantageous

- Experience in an account management / Customer service role is required

- Used to liaising with colleagues and clients of all levels both over the phone and via email

- Able to communicate effectively with other teams and departments within the business

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Used to working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail are maintained at all times
