CNC Turning Sliding Head

CNC Turner (Sliding Head) / Uxbridge / £20 ph / £39,000 pa / 4 Day Week

Are you an experienced Sliding Head Machinist? You could be progressing your career at a world class manufacturing company who are heavily involved in aerospace and defence sectors.

Based in a busy machine shop, you will be working on a CNC Sliding Head Lathes (Starr 38). You will be producing bespoke components, small batches, 1s, 2s, 5's at the most.

Location / Hours:
You'll be working in Uxbridge, Middlesex.

4days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. free parking available.
37.5 hrs (Mon-Thurs 7.00 - 17.00)

CNC Turner (Sliding Head) Duties/Requirements:

• Setting and operating sliding head lathes - Starr 38
• Must be experienced using sliding head lathes
• Editing programs when required (using Fanuc controls)
• Inspect machine parts using precision measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Starting Salary & benefits:
As a CNC Turner (Sliding Head) you will earn a competitive starting salary (of £20 ph / £39,000 pa) plus benefits including:
