Miles Recruitment have had an exciting new opportunity for a CNC Turning Operator/ Machinist to join a well established and flourishing company based in North Wiltshire. Our client is looking to continue growing and expanding, aiming to find a hard-working individual who has a passion for engineering.

As a CNC Turning Operator/ Machinist , you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC turning machines to produce precision components according to specifications. Some of your main responsibilities can include:

• Operating CNC lathes of various sizes (Over 10 CNC Lathes).
• Confidently program parts, fully or partially responsible for setting and operating machines.
• Carrying out basic inspections of parts and maintaining machine health.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.

To excel in this position as CNC Turning Operator/ Machinist, it is required that you have at least 2 years experience working on CNC Lathes. Other attributes and qualities that would be beneficial can include:

• Previous CAD/ CAM experience (Desired).
• Apprentice trained (Desired).
• Proactive person.
• Strong Communication skills.
• Team player - supports other team members, department strategies and processes as a whole.

• Your work week is: Monday to Friday, finishing at 1pm on Friday.
• Overtime is offered when available.
