Our client in Fishponds, are looking for a CNC Turner to assist in the manufacturing of parts through the production process.

Hours:

  • 37 hours per week - Day shift, Monday to Friday (hours can be discussed).
  • (Either 7.30-4pm Mon to Thurs 7.30-12.30pm Friday)
  • (or 6-2pm (11am finish on Friday) rotating weekly to 2-10pm (11-4pm on Friday)


Pay rate:

  • Starting from £14.64 per hour (depending on experience) + 25% shift allowance on rotating shfit


Location:

  • Fishponds


Duties:

  • Setting and Operating CNC Lathe Machines using Fanuc controls.
  • Ensuring performance of part production to planned set and run times and Quality requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring correct materials, Route Cards, drawing are used to produce components.
  • Setting up tools, offsets etc ready for your own operation to commence and assist Operators where appropriate.
  • Ensuring Delivery Schedule Adherence of parts to system / route card dates.
  • Responsible for ensuring work is completed on time in full to process routing / system date requirements.
  • Involvement and attendance at SQDCP meetings in assigned area/s.
  • Producing high complexity components from a range of materials.
  • Adhering to quality standards.

Essential skills:

  • Setting and Operating CNC Lathe Machines using Fanuc controls.
  • Producing high complexity components from a range of materials
  • Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and Engineering drawings.

Previous experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist would be advantageous.
