Our client is a supply partner of choice for Turned and Milled precision machined parts, the company is a small family business with strong ethics who appreciate their employee’s contributions to the business and value honestly, trustworthiness and loyalty amongst its workforce.

As a CNC Machinist you must be able to set & operate CNC lathes to produce precision components for a variety of industries.

The successful candidate will be a fully skilled engineer with CNC experience with the ability to set and operate Fanuc controlled machines.

Job Requirements:

  • To produce accurate, high-quality components.
  • Undertake any off set or minor changes to programmes to produce quality components to drawing limits/customer requirements.
  • Have a good understanding of Engineering drawings.
  • Have experience in machining various metals.
  • Be confident in working to tight tolerances and checking your own work during production batch runs.
  • Adhere to production schedules.
  • Able to set machine within allocated times and where possible to improve required run rates.
  • Adhere to ISO9001:2015 quality standard requirements

Hours of work:

7.30am – 4pm Monday to Thursday

7.30am – 11.45am Friday

Overtime on a business needs basis:

Mon – Friday @ Time and third

Saturday @ Time and half

Holiday Entitlement:

25 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays

Employers Pension Contribution:

3% of basic pay (after initial probation period)
