Experienced CNC Turner
Role Purpose: To be involved in programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes. You will be involved in machining interesting parts that are small to medium batch quantities. The applicant will be required to create programs using CNC lathes on FANUC machining centers. Applicant to understand drawings with close tolerances.
Responsibilities:
Plans machining by studying works orders
Directly involved in continuous improvement programs and quality control.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions.
Documents actions.
Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Hours of work: Rotating Shifts; Monday to Friday, 6:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00
Job Types: Permanent
Probation: 3 months
Holiday:Holiday 28 days including bank holidays.
Essential Requirements:
To be able to program, set and operate lathes
To be able to read drawings and understand critical features
To be able to find efficient methods of producing parts
To be able to write, prove and run programs
To be able to troubleshoot problems
To be able to inspect parts to Drawings
To be able to continuously look to improve methods, efficiency and procedures
To be able to work to high precision machining.
To be able to work to close tolerances on a variety of materials to engineering drawings.
Experienced in work holding methods and best practices
Operating tools to engineering drawings and designs
CNC Lathes / FANUC / CNC Programmer / CNC Setter / CNC Turning / Lathes / Online Programming / CNC Machinist / CNC Machining / Setter Operator / FANUC Controls / Solidworks
