Job role: CNC Sliding head Machinist

Salary: £34,000 - £38,000

Location: Rugby, Northamptonshire

Hours: 7:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 7:30 to 13:30 on a Friday

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Holiday: 33 days holidays (Including bank)

Overtime: Time 1/3

Benefits: Pension and on-site parking available

The Company:

Interaction have partnered with a leading precision engineering firm specialising in the aerospace, automotive and motorsport industries based in Rugby on their search for an experienced CNC sliding head lathe Setter & Programmer.

The Role:

· You will program, set and operate multi axis lathes on a variety of different machines

· You will produce small, complex batches of components to quality standards and tight tolerances.

· You will be using Fanuc controlled machinery.

· You will join the busy Turning section and be extremely important to the running of the team

The Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years experience as CNC sliding lath, Setter and Programmer using Fanuc controls (essential)

· Apprentice Trained (advantageous)

· High attention to detail and able to work to tight tolerances

· Self-motivated

. the use of Star citizen machines

The Benefits:

· £34,000-£38,000 salary dependent on experience

· Overtime readily available at time 1/3

· 33 days including bank holidays
