CNC programmer

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for our Tipton based Client for a a CNC Programmer Operator/Setter to join their team on a full time and permanent basis working day shifts

As the CNC Programmer Operator/Setter  the role will be accountable for manufacturing a variation of small to medium batch work to tight tolerances and strict standards. The opportunity will be given to learn to fully programme.

Duties of a CNC Programmer Operator/Setter will include:

• You will be responsible for Programming setting and operating CNC machinery
• Interpreting and working from engineering drawings
• Set, adjust and change the tools as and when required
• Use of gauges and other measuring equipment to ensure component meets required specifications
• Ensure you adhere to company health, safety and environmental standards
• Meeting and exceeding quality standards set
• Fanuc experience is a must.

Key Skills for a CNC Setter

• Essential that you have a minimum of 3 years setting, operating experience
• Programme using fanuc
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Ability for checking the quality of your own work

Salary: 32000 per year plus overtime

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm
• 1pm finish on Fridays
