Job Role

Our client, a manufacturer of specialist products in Peterborough, currently has an immediate opportunity for a skilled CNC Programmer. The role offers an exciting opportunity to join a team who is currently experiencing a significant level of growth. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and a proven history of setting and operating CNC machines.

Job Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling and turning machinery
• Must take responsibility for own high-quality work
• Carry out routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
• Ability to work from technical Diagrams
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Person Specification

• Previous experience in CNC Machining
• Program, set and operate the machinery
• Knowledge of programming languages such as G-code or M-code is advantageous
• Follow health & safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
• Good attention to detail required
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings

Hours of Work and Pay

• 7.30 to 4pm (40 Hours per week)
• Up to £36k per annum DOE + overtime
