Are you an experienced XYZ CNC Programmer looking for a new opportunity? Pertemps Recruitment are exclusively working with a well-established business in North Birmingham! Paying an attractive salary of £18-20 per hour depending on experience!

  • 8-hour shifts - Monday to Friday 08:00am - 16:30pm
  • Overtime guaranteed - time and half pay
  • Time and half on Saturdays and Double time on Sundays

The duties will include:
  • Programming XYZ CNC milling machines and lathes using manual programming and Autodesk CADCAM software where required.
  • Setting and operating both CNC and conventional (manual) machinery to produce parts from bespoke one-offs to small batch work.
  • Carrying out quality inspection of parts produced
  • Assisting other team members and departments when available
  • Out of hours breakdown service

Skills and experience required includes:
  • Previous CNC programming experience
  • Milling and Turning experience on both CNC and manual machines is required.
  • The ability to measure and inspect components accurately is essential.
  • A proactive approach to teamworking is encouraged.
  • A flexible and positive attitude towards your job role and working hours (overtime always available)
  • A very competitive wage / salary is on offer depending on your experience.
