We are pleased to be recruiting for a CNC programmer, setter, operator for our established client based in Dudley. 
Programming using Fanuc with some Siemens you will be joining a small team with big potential for the future. 

Our client is well-established engineering company based in Dudley, West Midlands, specialising in the supply and manufacture of high-quality stainless steel and carbon components. With a strong presence in the UK and Continental Europe, they pride themselves on delivering top-notch products to major stockists and distributors.

A rare opportunity has arisen to join them as a CNC programmer, setter, operator in a well functioning team as they start to build for the future. 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer, Setter, and Operator to join our engineering client's team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in both Siemens and Fanuc controls, with a strong background in offline programming.
This role involves operating and maintaining CNC machinery, ensuring precision, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

Programming and Setup:
  • Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Siemens and Fanuc controls.
  • Set up CNC machines, ensuring correct tooling, fixtures, and material is selected.
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed.

Operation:
  • Operate CNC mills or lathes to produce precision components.
  • Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments during production runs.
  • Maintain quality standards and meet tight tolerances.

Offline Programming:
  • Utilize offline programming software to develop and simulate CNC programs.
  • Optimize tool paths, reduce cycle times, and improve efficiency.

Health and Safety:
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Report any safety concerns promptly.

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Qualifications:

Experience:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, Setter, and Operator.
  • Familiarity with both Siemens and Fanuc controls.
  • Offline programming expertise.

Skills:
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret specifications.
  • Proficiency in using measuring equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Education:
  • GCSEs or equivalent (additional technical certifications preferred).
