CNC Process Technician
Indie Recruitment have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced CNC Process Technician working for our client based in Exeter.
Our client is looking into creating a new role in production called the Production Specialist. The goal of this role is to provide dedicated staff to support the maintenance, setup, and operation of the production equipment. The duties of this role include the following:
·Machine maintenance
·TPM
·Conduct risk assessments
·Continuous improvement
·Cost reduction and productivity improvements
·Efficiency monitoring
·Ordering, stocking, and issuing equipment.
·Training new and existing staff
·SOP creation for operations and maintenance
·Quality control checking
·Liaising with external contractors
·Liaising with R&D/Products department
·Member of H&S committee
·Troubleshoot and resolve process and machine related issues.
·Collate and analyse process data to identify trends.
Prerequisites to include.
·Higher education qualification in a relevant technical discipline
·Experience in a production environment
·Six Sigma knowledge
·Knowledge and experience in machine programming
·Lean Manufacturing experience
You will be looking after the CNC routers, the wall saw and the associated equipment.
Hours will be standard day shift 08:30 - 17:00. There will be a probation period and some flexibility of hours required as the roles progress.
In return for fulfilling the role and duties outlined above the successful candidate will receive:
• Salary: £36,400 - £40,300
•25 days holiday (plus 8 UK bank holidays)
