CNC Operator

Here at Impact Recruitment, we are recruiting for multiple CNC Machinists, working on a permanent basis within Northampton. As a CNC Machinist you will be able to work with both or either Milling and Turning machines. This role includes operating lathes and mills using Fanuc controls as well as writing CNC programs using CAD/CAM processors.

Salary: £14 - £20 per hour depending on experience

Location: Northampton

Hours: (Mon - Fri) Day Shift

Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holiday

Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing bespoke and small batches of complex components for the aerospace / automotive industries.
• Carrying out inspections and measurements on components using various metrology equipment such as Micrometers, Verniers and Plug Gauges.
• Setting and operating both manual/cnc mills and lathes primarily using Fanuc controls.
• Writing new CNC programs on AlphaCam or CAD/CAM processors.

Requirements:

• A proven background working in precision machining.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and engineering drawings.
• Ability to produce complex components to tight drawing tolerance and specifications.
• Experience and adherance to quality standards.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
