CNC Operator Turner

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a CNC Operator (Turner) to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in Glasgow.

Salary: 33.5K, with 1.5x weekdays and 1.66x weekend over-time

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 7.45am – 4.30pm, Friday 7.45am – 11.45am

Daily Duties –

• Operate, set-up, and adjust multi-axis CNC machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ensure equipment records are updated and accurate
• De-burr castings after machining
• Preventative maintenance tasks and safety checks on machines

Candidates Requirements –

• Time-served CNC machinist or relevant qualifications
• Previous machining experience in a heavy engineering/manufacturing environment
• Driving Licence
