Our client, who supply the Nuclear, Space, Medical and F1 industries are looking for a skilled candidate with experience of multi-axis machining and quality inspection!

CNC Miller (Setter) Roles and Responsibilities:

• Setting CNC Machines
• Operating 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines
• Perform quality inspection of work, including CMM inspection
• Produce quality inspection reports when requires
• Work to ISO 9001: 2015 quality standards, also work within a 5’s manufacturing environment
• Work to a production schedule

The ideal CNC Miller (Setter) will:

• Experience of working on multi-axis CNC machining
• Experience and use of inspection tools, being able to perform 100% inspections
• Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions
• Be able to work to tight tolerances with a variety of materials
• Demonstratable experience of CNC Programming EDGECAM/ FANUC (desirable)
• Have an Engineering Apprenticeship (desirable)
• National Engineering Technical Certificate
• NVQ/ City and Guilds

Working Hours + Benefits:

• 37 Hours a Week
• 28 Days Holiday (Inc Bank Holidays)
• Company Pension Scheme
• Opportunity for overtime
• Weekend and shift work paid at a premium
• Monday - Thursday: 8.00 - 4.30 Friday 8.00-1.00
• Flexible working hours
