Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of a specialised component manufacturer to recruit a CNC Setter / Operator based in Rotherham. 

Salary: average of £37,000 
£13.35 p/h - rising to £13.85 p/h + shift allowances
20% Shift Allowance on Days / 28.7% Shift Allowance on Nights.

Shift Pattern: Mix of days and nights 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture components following instructions provided in the production pack 
  • Ensure all production documentation adheres to the relevant quality criteria 
  • Assist in the introduction of new products by providing feedback to engineers 
  • Confirm that completed work meets specifications 
  • Use precision instruments such as micrometres, calipers, dial indicators and gauges 
  • Progress manufacturing in line with production timeline 


Skills and Experience:

  • Setting and Operating of CNC milling or turning machines 
  • Experience of working with Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain 
  • Experience of setting up multiple machines simultaneously 
  • Highly motivated 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Ability to manage own time and workload
