CNC Machinist - £16.50 to £18.50 Per Hour – Based in Eye, Suffolk – Monday to Friday 8.00am till 4.00pm – Permanent - Overtime Available
  
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our clients busy production team. The successful individual will be able to demonstrate proven experience in both CNC and manual machining, be comfortable operating a wide variety of tooling, and possess a high level of attention to detail.
  
Duties include, but not limited to:
  
  • Machining parts for our own workshop mostly in mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and high-grade plastics.
  • Programming and setting up of work.
  • To produce high-quality parts
  • Perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
  • Must be able to read technical drawings to produce work confidently.
  • Produce products to specifications.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety and company policies and procedures.
  
Candidate Attributes:
  
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to read and understand complex technical drawings.
  • Experience in both CNC and manual turning and milling.
  • Be able to confidently program machines.
  • Responsible for general maintenance of machinery and tooling.
  • Previous metalworking and engineering experience.
  • Be proactive and methodical.
  • Forklift License desirable.
  • Full clean driving license.
