CNC Machinist Northampton

Skilled CNC milling setter/operator - £12.00 to £14 / hr
The role is for a Skilled CNC Miller. You will be responsible for manufacturing one-off and small batch sub-contract machined plastic components for industries including Formula 1 Aerospace, Oil & Gas. You will be working from engineering drawings to set and operate either Haas 3, 4 & 5 axis machines & Belotti 5 axis machines.
The ideal candidate for the role will have the following attributes. You will have had exposure in a similar position and must be able to work from engineering drawings to set and operate CNC Milling machines with Haas & Siemens controls. You will be able to work with a variety of materials and preferably will have experience in either the F1 /Oil and Gas/or aerospace industries. Candidates from other industries will be considered. * At least two years of experience in a similar role. *. * Must be able to work well as a team and equally without supervision on CNC machining centres.

Hours of work 38.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 07.45 am to 16.15 pm & Friday 07.45 am to 14.45 pm
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Preference would be given to time served engineers with experience of machining plastics, Programming experience on Autodesk Powermill an advantage.
