Metalis are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist with Grinding experience to join our client's team in Leicester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC Grinding Machines to precision, ensuring parts are machined in strict accordance with the specified methods.

Job Duties:

• Operate CNC Grinding Machines with precision and expertise, ensuring adherence to agreed method specifications.
• Develop proficient machine setting skills to facilitate machine setups in alignment with Company requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings accurately, ensuring correct alignment of fixtures for machining processes.
• Conduct thorough inspections of parts according to quality procedures, promptly taking approved actions to resolve any identified quality issues.
• Operate CMM machines to support inspection requirements and maintain high-quality standards.
• Consistently achieve and exceed all targets, including production, quality, and housekeeping, as set by the Cell Manager.
• Demonstrate strict adherence to all company policies and procedures, including SOX, Code of Conduct, and Health and Safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

• While previous experience in CNC Grinding is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.
• Prior experience in CNC machining is beneficial
• Knowledge of the aerospace sector is advantageous, demonstrating an understanding of industry-specific requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately, ensuring precise implementation of specifications.
• Capability to self-inspect manufactured parts using manual measuring equipment, emphasizing attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in operating machinery is advantageous, showcasing technical expertise and practical skills in the field.

Salary & Hours:

• Salary: £32,000 - £33,000 per annum

Morning Hours

• 05:45 - 13:45 Monday - Thursday
• 05:45 - 10:45 Friday

Afternoon Hours

• 13:45 - 21:45 Monday - Thursday
• 10:45 - 15:45 Friday

Night Hours

• 21:45 - 05:45 Monday - Thursday
• 15:45 - 20:45 Friday
