Cloud Engineer Contract Dublin 6-18 Months. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Cloud Engineer to join them on a contract basis for 6-18 months in continuation

My client works across technology to create the solution to align with the businesses cloud strategy. You will be required to perform product design activities as required. You will also look to design and implement new software solutions as part of our cloud enablement strategy, as well as maintain and enhance existing software.Ensure that code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, security, object-oriented practices, and performance and write and conduct unit and integration tests.Effectively function and communicate within a software development team consisting of developers, quality assurance, and project management members.

Successful candidates will have experience with general programming languages Java/python.Agile development practices and test-driven development.Experience building and working with cloud infrastructure.Deep knowledge of web protocols, multiple operating systems, hypervisors and distributed systems architecture.AWS, Azure or Google APIs and environments.Cloud Security. You will have hands-on experience with CI/CD toolchains such as Maven/Jenkins
Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, CloudFormation, Salt
Experience with identity management frameworks and tools and Experience in Linux\UNIX system administration. Experience with Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), Go, HashiCorp Terraform, Cloud Formation
