Connaught Resourcing is a health and social care recruitment agency who specialise in NHS 111 and integrated urgent care services. We are partnered with Scotland’s leading provider of national tele-health and tele-care services recruiting for permanent Clinical Supervisors to join their service delivery team at their sites in Aberdeen, South Queensferry, Cardonald, Hillington and Clydebank and Dundee.

Are you looking for a new challenge in your clinical career and want to use your expert knowledge and skills to provide excellent care to patients through the specialised area of telephone and computer-based triage?

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive telephone triage using your clinical judgement supported by computer-based clinical decision systems. You will be required to assess callers across all age-groups, with a wide variety of clinical conditions; advising them on home care management, next steps and referring them on to further care when appropriate. You will also provide clinical supervision to other members within the multi-disciplinary team.

Working on service delivery is a highly skilled and exciting role that gives you the opportunity to use and develop your assessment skills for a wide variety of patients and clinical presentations.

In order to qualify for this role, you must have the following:

  • Registered as an Adult nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register
  • Substantial clinical experience in a range of settings. Experience of working in a multi-professional/multi-agency environment
  • Willing and able to participate in CDSS training if required. Commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and lifelong learning.
  • Critical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Pay Rates:

Band 6 £37,831- £46,100 per annum + unsocial hours allowance (outlined below):

  • Evenings & Saturday: Time + 30%
  • Sunday & Bank Holiday: Time + 60%

Our client is predominately an out of hours employer, this means that actual earnings will include payments made for working evenings, nights, weekend shifts and public holidays.

Hours:

There are a variety of full and part-time contracts available. The service is predominantly of hours, shifts such as evenings and weekends will be included in the rota pattern.

You are required to attend 2 weeks of full-time classroom based training followed by a 2 week mentoring period which will be completed within your contracted hours (further information available at interview).
