Clinical Specialist MAMMOGRAPHERS Required
London 2 sites.
Contract Type - Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs
Salary - up to £55,000 and negotiable DOE. With excellent benefits including Private health insurance.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, experienced Senior Mammographer to join our Breast Imaging Services in the Private Sector.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform quality control functions related to mammography and Bone Density Scans.
- Assit in Biopsies where required.
- Utilise and understand the PACS and DR/CR system.
- Participate in symptomatic breast clinics
- Carry out screening mammography and DEXA scans and assist with ultrasounds.
- To work within one or more of our Breast Imaging Units to provide a professional, efficient and cost-effective Mammography service as required.
- Work as a senior member of the team responsible for maintaining and developing the mammography/radiology service.
- Ability to connect and communicate appropriately with the patient group.
Skills & Experience
- BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or Equivalent
- Post Grad experience/Certificate in Mammography or equivalent
- HCPC Registration
- Demonstrate high level of knowledge in mammography processes and procedures.
