Clinical Psychologist Band 7
Location: KT18 5AJ
Start and end date: ASAP-Up to September 2024
Hours: 27 hours per week
Essential:
- Post Graduate Doctoral level training in Clinical or Educational Psychology (or equivalent) accredited by the BPS
- HCPC registration
- Experience of working with children/young people and families
- Doctoral level knowledge of Clinical or Educational Psychology
- Able to maintain a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing situations
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and young people with complex disabilities
- Knowledge of current research, clinical audit, and service evaluation methods
Desirable:
- Post-doctoral training in paediatric neuropsychology
- Knowledge of paediatric neuropsychology assessment and formulation
- An understanding of the impact of illness, disability and acquired brain injury on children, young people, and their families
