We are looking for a forward thinking Critical Care Practice Educator to work in an Outstanding Private Hospital in London.

Contract: Full time 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday.

Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending and skills and experience, with excellent benefits

The Role:

  • We are looking for individual who possess excellent communication and leadership skills with evidence of working creatively and with a clear determination to deliver safe, effective and high quality patient care that is underpinned with kindness and compassion. Having the ability to role model a positive attitude towards service delivery and progression is key to this position.
  • The Clinical Practice Educator Critical Care will be responsible for providing the employees within the ICU learning experiences which will enhance the quality of care given to patients.
  • As a The Clinical Practice Educator you’ll be responsible for creating strategies for the induction, education and continuing professional development of clinical staff. The CPE facilitates and delivers relevant education sessions and study days in line with current up to date evidence based Critical services and care. The Clinical Practice Educator will be responsible for developing educational plans and models to promote safe and healthy practices within the department to better care for their patients
  • This role gives you an opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to develop and strengthen the ICU Clinical team to guide and support in the provision of high quality standards of care in the Intensive care setting.

What you’ll bring:

  • NMC Registered Nurse.
  • Teaching course/Qualification.
  • Previous Experience in clinical education.
  • Qualification in Critical Care. BSc /degree or working towards (must have 60 credits or more at degree level).
  • Current ALS Certificate.
  • Leadership Training (NVQ/ UCLH Supervisory skills Course)
  • Management experience at senior band 6 level or equivalent in Critical Settings.
