As a Clinical Negligence Senior Associate, you'll play a pivotal role in providing top-tier legal counsel, managing complex cases, and contributing to the continued success and growth of the thriving practice.

The Team

  • The team boasts recognition in the Chambers and Legal 500 directories, comprising lawyers accredited for clinical negligence by Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA) and the Law Society.
  • With a proven history of securing maximum compensation across diverse medical realms, they seek a Senior Associate to collaborate closely with department Partners in client counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance to clients on intricate claimant clinical negligence (80%) and personal injury (20%) claims.
  • Conduct comprehensive case analyses covering liability, causation, and quantum issues while adhering to procedural and funding directives.
  • Supervise junior staff, allocating tasks as appropriate.
  • Attend client meetings and counsel conferences.
  • Conduct legal research using various resources.
  • Manage case files and documents.
  • Identify and cultivate new referral sources.
  • Uphold professional standards, ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority guidelines and delivering high-quality legal services, administrative efficiency, and financial accountability.
