Clinical Negligence Legal Executive, Cardiff

First rate opportunity for an experienced Chartered Legal Executive to join a top 100 UK law firm with offices in Cardiff and London.

Based in impressive offices in Cardiff city centreyou will be joining the firms top ranked clinical negligence team. You will be working in the claimant division representing claimants and their families following poor medical treatment.

The role will primarily involve working on new and potential instructions and duties will include:

  • Handle a caseload of clinical negligence work
  • Conduct a wide range of clinical negligence cases
  • Maintaining a good knowledge of CPR and the law relating to clinical negligence
  • Providing advice to clients on sensitive matters
  • Draft witness statements and pleadings
  • Reviewing medical reports and provide appropriate advice
  • Maintaining a basic understanding of medical issues
  • Instructing and communicating with Counsel
  • Dealing with highly complex conferences

The successful candidate must have relevant clinical negligence.
