Clinical Coder
ACC or Experienced Clinical Coders (5 years minimum experience)
Full Time, Part Time or Weekends
This position requires you to hold the National Clinical Coding Qualification, or you must have gained your experience as a clinical coder working within a clinical coding department for hospitals within the UK.
Onsite - Wales
Specialities: Coding all specialities
Duties:
Proficient in ICD-10 and OPCS4. Review and analyse medical records to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and treatments. Ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines and regulations. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Skills: Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Attention to detail and accuracy in coding assignments. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
