The Client Accounts Manager will be responsible for reviewing accurate company accounts, tax returns and engaging proactively with the clients. Leading your own portfolio and being an active member in the Accountancy practice.

This Accountancy practice is based in Liverpool. They are a dynamic firm with new offices which welcomes new ideas and encourages future growth and individual career progression to become partner if desired.

Description

As a Client Accounts Manager, the following responsibilities are required:

  • Provide a pro-active service to customers utilising relevant MI to ensure that they are constantly informed and have full visibility of all areas of their accounts
  • The opportunity to get involved with audits.
  • Provide dynamic and proactive tax and accounting support to clients using written and phone-based communication
  • Prepare statutory accounts - this will include preparation and reviewing of accounts and supporting tax computations for clients requiring year end and cessation accounts
  • Undertake ad-hoc clean-up or other projects, meeting targets set at the start of the project
  • Provide mentor support to ACCA students within the team
  • Suggest process improvements necessary to the role

Profile

Experience and Qualification Requirements of the Client Accounts Manager

  • Ideally qualified by experience or fully qualified
  • Minimum 5 years' Accountancy practice experience
  • Proven ability of working towards targets and KPIs
  • Proven ability to work accurately on own initiative
