Butler Rose are excited to be partnering with a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Reading who are looking to hire an experienced accountant to join a modern and friendly accountancy practice.

Skills / experience:

• ACCA qualified with ideally 2 years PQE
• Recent experience working in a UK based accountancy practice for at least 2 years
• Experience reviewing accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and tax returns prepared by juniors
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients and preparing statutory accounts.
• Have experience in doing sign off meetings with clients
• Experienced in advising owner managed businesses
• Proficient at reviewing work prepared by others to the highest standard

Education:

• Ideally you will be ACA / ACCA qualified but all levels of ACA / ACCA will be considered depending on your practical experience.

Experience:

• accounting: 2 years (required)
• Recent experience working in an accountancy practice (essential)
