Client Accountant

A dynamic and vibrant accountancy firm are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team in Wilmslow. This firm is dedicated to delivering a full range of services to their clients. Their clients include sole traders, contractors, and SME's. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to join a supportive and growing firm which provides excellent development opportunities for their staff.

Your new role
As Client Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of clients and provide a professional service through developing and maintaining excellent relationships. You will be responsible for preparing and filing statutory accounts and tax returns in a timely manner. You will onboarding new clients and building and maintain strong relationships with all clients, both new and existing. You will prepare and submit statutory filings such as company accounts, corporation tax returns and Self-Assessment tax returns. You will also complete monthly payroll filings for clients and review client's portal ensuring everything is entered correctly and kept up to date.

What you\'ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience within practice. This candidate will ideally be studying towards an accountancy qualification and be AAT or ACCA Part Qualified. You will need a good understanding of company taxes such as VAT, Corporation Tax and PAYE. You will also need to have experience using accountancy software such as Xero. You will also need to have the ability to manage your own workload and work to deadlines, while delivering an excellent client service.

What you\'ll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £26,000 - £32,000 dependant on experience. You will be able to work within a new modern office and you will receive 20 day's holiday plus bank holidays, with addition holiday entitlement after 2 years of service.
