As the sole agency supplier to the HM Prison Service for the provision of maintenance trades and support operatives. Hays is seeking to recruit a cleaner for HMYOI Wetherby. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the prison service and can often lead to permanent opportunities.
Your new roleYou will be required to clean all staff areas including offices spaces, corridors, toilets, staff rooms, gatehouse / prison entrances.Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm - 39 hours per week (1 hour unpaid lunch)
Please note we will consider applications from those wanting school hours, or part-time job share.
What you'll need to succeedYou must be able to pass a full prison clearance to be offered the role. For this you will need a valid passport OR full birth certificate with a photo, driving licence or provisional licence AND proof of address (utility bills) AND proof of national insurance number. For this level of check, you must have lived in the UK for the last 6 years.You must also be able to provide 1-2 employment references within the last 3 years.Previous cleaning experience is desired
