Job title: Cleaner
Location: Southern Hill Hospital Cooks Hill, Gimingham, Mundesley, Norfolk, NR11 8ET
Rate Of Pay: £11.44 Per Hour
Shift Patterns: 40hrs Per Week Guaranteed + Overtime, Permanent Contract.
Week One: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7.30am-6pm
Week Two: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday 7.30am-6pm
Information about the Role:
Working as Cleaner at Southern Hill Hospital your duties will include the following:
- General cleaning in communal areas as well as the people we support bedrooms, removing waste appropriately and replenishing supplies where necessary.
- Use appropriate cleaning materials and equipment in accordance with COSHH, comply with any infection control procedures and all health and safety regulations.
- To report to the line manager faults, equipment malfunctions and/or issues hindering the usual cleaning routines, following appropriate procedures for reporting equipment checking & failure.
- To follow the appropriate procedure for re-ordering cleaning supplies and equipment
Information about the Service:
Southern Hill Hospital has 44 mental health beds across four units, as well as a 5 bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The Hospital is able to offer a 24 hour acute admission within a safe and secure environment.
Necessary Experience or Qualifications to work as a Cleaner:
- Ideally Minimum of 6 months Cleaner / Domestic Cleaner or Housekeeper experience.
- Good understanding of Health & safety regulations.
- Worked to COSHH complying with infection control procedures.
