Are you a skilled CLass 2 HGV driver and interested in joined a Nationwide company on a temp to perm basis?

Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner. Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law. Drive within the tachograph law and driver hours limits. Look after the vehicle and ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessary damage.

  • Provide Class 2 HGV driving services to and from anywhere in the UK
  • Uphold high standards of internal and external customer care
  • Develop relationships with customers at key collection and delivery locations
  • Act as a professional representative during journeys and on delivery of goods
  • Deliver and unload goods safely and in accordance to HSE guidelines
  • Take responsibility for accurately completing paperwork associated with collections and deliverie
Skills and Attributes
  • A clean UK Class 2 Driver licence and excellent driving skills

  • Standard right to work checks are required

  • A 'people’ person with good interpersonal skills

  • Reliability, and able to meet tight deadlines

  • A calm and professional manner when liaising with stakeholders

  • Good stress management skills

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Flexibility with regards to shift work

  • The ability to concentrate for long periods of time

  • Good knowledge of UK geography

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Some mechanical knowledge of HGVs would be useful

  • Experienced and confident when in control of a HGV
