Forde Recruitment, is currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers to support the collection of waste and recycling within the area on behalf of their client, a local council operating in Rotherham.

Class 2 Driver Job Description:

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for driving an automatic Class 2 wagon and assisting loaders by loading bins into the cart.

This role requires passing a driving assessment, after which, you will be planned on to the client’s rota immediately. Due to the nature of this role and involvement of loading and lifting, you will ideally need to be physically fit.

Class 2 Driver Requirements:

To be considered for the role of a Class 2 Driver, we require the following qualifications and skills:

  • Full LGV C licence
  • Minimum 12 months experience
  • Good level of English verbal and written communication
  • Acceptance of up to 6 points on your licence (no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements)
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Digi Tachograph Card
  • CPC Card

Pay Rate: £12.59
