Class 1 Driver

Class 1 (C + E) HGV Driver

We are working with a client who is seeking for more HGV Class 1 (Cat C + E) drivers to add to their team, completing multi drops throughout your shift delivering palletised general haulage. You would be completing deliveries and collections of pallets in the local area.

Main responsibilities:
* Completing multiple drop deliveries of pallets and collections of pallets
* Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle
* Being responsible for securing the goods in the vehicle and unloading at each drop
* Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Experience:
- Class 1 (Cat C + E) driving experience (1 year minimum for insurance purposes)
- Valid CPC
- Clean driving record

Location:
Wrexham

Salary:
£14.5 - £18 PH, 10 hours minimum paid per shift
Holiday pay accrued separately

Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, alternative days (approx.. 0700 start) and nights (approx.. 1900 start)
Weekend shifts available.
