We are looking for a qualified team leader to manage the claims team and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members daily. As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for the management of your team, including setting objectives, holding regular 1-1s, motivating, coaching and developing the team.
- Provide support to the Head of Department
- Lead by example and have an open approach to coaching and developing all team members
- Support the Claims Team ensuring the consistent delivery of claims excellence to all customers
What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Experience of working within the Financial Services sector
- Previous team leader or supervisory level experience
- Good standard of education with a minimum grade 'C’ GCSE, or equivalent, in Maths and English
- Attention to detail and accuracy while remaining calm under pressure
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
